Ilha Grande (Big Island) with its beautiful beaches and crystal clear water is the most famous island of the 365 surrounding the Bay of Angra dos Reis. Between the mountains and the beaches, the area is perfect for cruising around, snorkeling and hiking. Your tour to Angra dos Reis and Ilha Grande begins with high quality transportation towards the Costa Verde region, two hours by bus from Rio(But in festive times and holidays can double the time due to traffic). You'll arrive in the city of Angra dos Reis, where you'll head straight to the port to board the schooner. Set sail, sit back and enjoy paradise. Some of the sights you'll be able to see from the boat include: Lagoa Azul: a natural aquarium where you'll find one of the finest diving spots on Ilha Grande. A massive pool with clear water, where the bottom is a live sea star collection, combined with shoals of colorful fish, squids, and corals. Don't forget to bring your bathing suit. Praia do Araçá: Cozy beach with calm, clear waters and a peculiar formation, is one of the beaches that does not receive so much visitation of tourists because it is a small beach and often goes unnoticed by those who pass by boat. Ilhas Botinas: In the Botina Islands we will only make stops for photo, on the spot diving is not allowed. Also known as Twin Islands is the main postcard of the city of Angra dos Reis. Its main attractions are the incredibly clear waters and white sands. Gipóia Island: It is the second largest island in the bay of Angra, we will make our last stop at Vitorino Beach, where a sardine canning factory operated until 1967 and nowadays it has become a restaurant where we will have lunch, a great option for children and the elderly take a refreshing sea bath. Note: For your safety, the Schooner Ride in Angra dos Reis as well as all Nautical Routes are subject to changes according to the maritime conditions and intervention of the Brazilian Navy. The total duration of the tour is approximately 12 hours and lunch is served late afternoon at the Canto das Canoas Restaurant on the island of Gipóia (with vegan options).
