This award-winning, Michelin-starred restaurant probably serves the best and most inventive Indian food in London. While the restaurant itself in posh St James's is nothing to write home about, the dishes themselves demand not postcards but missives: pink pepper chilli prawns, Malabar lamb biryani, stuffed quail legs. The menu is very vegetarian friendly, with up to a dozen unique choices.
